Physical + Digital = Phygital

Pronunciation: phy·gi·tal

But, say it like this: "fi·gi·tal"

The concept of involves combining tangible, real-world items with a unique digital token (NFT) on a blockchain. The term "phygital" is a blend of "physical" and "digital," emphasising the integration of both.

How it works? 

A physical item, such as a t-shirt, a pair of sneakers, or a piece of jewellery is linked to a unique identifier, like a QR Code, RFID or NFC tag. This tag, then links back to an NFT, which represents the digital version of the physical item.

In our case. this identifier (QR Code) is directly linked to an NFT Name Quest. i.e private access to a secret puzzle page on our Discord Server.

Future Concept! Embedded Tags

In the near future, our plan is to embedded our shirts with a NFCtag (chip). Tapping a smartphone to the tag will among other things, authorise any digitally linked items.

We are currently still working on this concept. For the moment, we are still simply using QR CODES.
